As a financial advisor, it’s important to help your clients navigate major life events. This involves helping them understand the financial implications of these life events, providing guidance on how to manage their finances during these transitions and helping them develop a long-term financial plan that aligns with their goals and priorities.

With wedding season among us, we thought we would share a suggested 6-week life event journey leveraging the HeyAdvisor content library that you can send to your clients or clients' adult children during this important transition.

HeyAdvisor's pre-written email templates and integration with Mailchimp make it easy to create these life event journeys and use them over and over again with clients and prospects.

Week 1

Introduce the topic and provide your clients with a “why”.

Starting with a simple introduction email provides clarification and increases the engagement you will have during the email marketing journey.

Sample email:

Dear Client,
Getting married is a major life event that can have a significant impact on your financial situation. As you begin your new life together, it's important to make sure you are on the right track to achieve your financial goals.
Over the next month and a half, you will receive a series of educational pieces around wealth planning opportunities that may be of interest to you. We will then work with you to identify your goals and develop a customized plan that will help you achieve them.
We believe that by taking a proactive approach to your finances, you can achieve your goals and build the future you envision. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to working with you.
Best regards,
